REPEATE is a romantic comedy film that Madhan Karky wrote and that Arvindh Srinivasan Master directed. Naveen Chandra, Madhubala, Achyuth Kumar, Smruthi Venkat play the lead roles in the film. Preetha Jayaraman shot the video, Ghibran composed the music, and Radha Sridhar edited it. Story:-
A novelist reports to the police that some people are threatening him over the phone because the criminal from the crimes that occurred in the city a few months earlier was depicted in the novel. Police ignore him because they believe he is intoxicated. The following day, a girl goes missing, exactly as described by the same author. A covert police officer is assigned to this case because the missing girl is the DGP’s daughter. Rest of the story deals with the situations and the twists that are revealed in process of this investigation.

Repeat In addition to Madhoo Shah (Madhubala), Achyuth Kumar, Pooja Ramachandran, Smruthi Venkat, Mime Gopi, Satyam Rajesh, Kaali Venkat, and Naveena Reddy, who all play significant roles in the film, Naveen Chandra plays the lead. Aravindh Srinivasan is the film’s director, and PG Muthaiah and K Vijay Pandey are its producers. Music of this movie is composed by Ghibran and PG Muthaiah is the cinematographer.
Movie takes some time to establish the main characters from the film and makes us believe the situations that are taking place and first few scenes in the movie are well designed and grabs our attention with some good narration.
Scenes become repetitive and occasionally predictable after Naveen Chandra joins the narrative as an undercover investigation officer, and the backstory of DGP’s investigation process makes it clear what might have happened and what might occur next, but the movie is intriguing because the screenplay and narration keep your attention.
When it comes to performances, Naveen Chandra did a great job portraying an investigation officer and giving the appropriate performance. Madhoo Shah (aka Madhubala), a former actress, is an absolute misfit for the DGP role; most of the time, her performance comes off as over the top. Achyuth Kumar as the writer is convincing in his role and all other actors did their part as required for the proceeding of the movie plot.
The movie looks good technically. Ghibran’s background music gives the scenes the mood they need.The cinematography by PG Muthaiah is passable; the majority of the movie’s scenes had static shots, and while none of the shots are particularly noteworthy, they cannot be disregarded because the lighting designates the atmosphere needed for the thriller. Production values are okay.
